Denver Career Counseling Rates and Packages

My rates are competitive for my field. They vary depending on whether you choose to pay session-by-session or in packages. I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, checks, and cash. Sessions are a full hour (no "50-minute hours").

4-session package, cash/check discount: $420 ($105 per session)

4-session package, standard rate: $440 ($110 per session)

Per-session rate, pay one session at a time: $125

The packages are intended to be purchased in advance rather than retroactively, but you don't have to decide until you come in for a session. So, you can come for your first session, see how it feels, and then choose to pay for just that session or to purchase a package of four, which would include that first session. Packages are nonrefundable and are valid for five months from the purchase date.

You might understandably be wondering how many sessions you will need. It's difficult for me to answer this question because this is such an individualized process, but many people find that they gain sufficient clarity within a few sessions to move forward on their own. This depends on many factors and on your personal goals for counseling. It's also important to know that there's no "magic number" in the four sessions, and I'm not offering packages of four to suggest that you'll have everything all figured out after four meetings. We can discuss your situation and create a plan for the sessions when we talk on the phone or in our first session.

My policy on paying for the first session: I require a credit or debit card deposit to hold your first session (if you don’t have a credit card, you may mail a check). I will take your payment by phone, as I am not currently set up for online payments. Unless you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance, I will charge your card whether you come to your appointment or not (or you may use a check or cash when you come). This is to hold the time for you, which prevents me from holding the time for someone else…I've learned this lesson from too many people who have "spaced out" their first appointments. Thanks for your understanding!
